These words embody the life and mission of F. Eugene Jones, Jr.—a visionary, a worshipper, and a warrior for the Kingdom of God. A man of faith, power, and resilience, he is an anointed vessel chosen to uplift, empower, and transform lives through music, ministry, education, and family.

His love for music began as a child, reaching for the piano from his playpen—a prophetic gesture of the greatness to come. Now a renowned organist, drummer, choir director, and producer, he has been in high demand, playing for choirs, directing, and serving as a minister of music. As a gospel artist, writer, and composer, his work inspires people to overcome hardships and trust in God’s divine plan. Through his words and music, he ushers people into the powerful presence of God.

​​Ministry has been at his core from an early age. At just nine years old, he accepted his call to preach, later becoming a minister at 16. He went on to serve as a minister of music and adjutant under the Church of God in Christ, youth pastor at City of Refuge Church, and Vice Youth President for the Triumphant Pentecostal Church. By 22, he was appointed Pastor of Bethesda Christian Center Cathedral in Toledo, Ohio, under Bishop M. L. Holt. His profound wisdom beyond his years earned him the title “young old preacher.”
His ministry expanded further in 2016 when, in the face of adversity, he founded The Remnant Refined by Fire Covenant Fellowship Inc., a movement focused on transforming the broken and elevating them from victims to victors. In 2022, he launched Love & Grace Empowerment Temple within the Lunenburg Correctional Center, a thriving church bringing hope, love, and empowerment behind prison walls. His Apostolic Family includes Bishop T. Andrew Aiken, Bishop Marjorie L. Holt, and Apostle Cheryl T. Roberts. He is spiritually guided by Pastor William Lipscomb, who help keep him accountable to his divine mission.

Education is another passion. He holds a Master’s in Theology from the International Christian College and Seminary and has studied Biblical Studies at Crossroads Institute. As a Re-Entry Specialist for the Virginia Department of Corrections, he has helped returning citizens with job training, résumé building, and life skills. A certified Pro-Literacy teacher, he has also taught brick masonry, which he enjoys as a personal hobby. He is the author of two books: "The Positive Lifestyle" and "Relationship 101."

He is blessed with his “cores of purpose”—his three children, Jaaziah, Su’Rai, and Hezron. They have kept him grounded, driving him to overcome challenges that others would have fainted under. They are his life’s drumbeat, pushing him forward through every trial. Truly, God has brought him from a mighty long way—a champion who refused to be defined by people, situations, or struggles. His journey serves as a testimony to the world, echoing the words of Dr. Maya Angelou: “You do better when you know better.” And as he always declares: "Onwards Forever, Backwards Never."
